A new favorite restaurant in Dallas! Highly impressed with the dishes here Highlights: Lobster spaghetti, Pesto Fusilli, Charred Octopus, Chocolate Custard Cake Lobster spaghetti was such a unique flavor with hints of saffron and turmeric and the chocolate cake was incredibly moist and was complemented well by the espresso ice cream and nutella crunch. Next time, I would try the clams vongole and seared branzino. Service was incredible as well. Food came out so fast and our waitress (Kristen) gave us amazing recommendations and was beyond friendly. Ambience was lovely too but just a little loud. I left this meal already thinking about when I could come back. Definitely intrigued to try The Charles now too Lobster burrata, Beets and avocado, and shishitos and onions were also good but not as stand-out as the aforementioned dishes
I've been twice and both times the drinks were amazing and food delicious and well seasoned (rare for Dallas). The portions are a little small but the flavor is there in every dish from the starters, to the pastas, to the mains. The staff is also solid and makes me feel welcomed. Plus free valet. The restaurant is a bit small so it can be noisy when it's at full capacity on weekends but I don't mind. Still overall worth it. Definitely plan on being a regular here.
I love this place. You need to go right away. I recommend trying at least three starters. Two entrees. And two to three sides. Get a bottle of wine for the table... or two and enjoy yourself. The service is superior.
We went to Sister to celebrate a job promotion. Service was wonderful; our server explained the tapas menu and recommended just how much we should order. My daughter ordered the pasta vongole; she said the clams were wonderful. My wife and I had redfish, which was really tasty. But the highlight was the roasted carrots. Who would have thought?! But we fought over the last ones. The dining room is beautiful and they have valet parking, much needed to be sure. We can't wait to go back, especially for the carrots!
A super cute restaurant with amazing food, service, and ambiance. You must order the clam vongole and wild boaranaise. Everything is shareable and was so delicious. As for my sweet treat, the banana budino was scrumptious and was a winner for me.
The decor is cute, the service was quick and our server was very nice with good suggestions. I think about 75 percent of the menu was gluten free (which is great) and the server was very good about asking for dietary restrictions. We tried several different dishes. I had the voodoo gin cocktail. If you don't like sweet, which I don't, it is great. Good flavor, presentation, and strong. For apps we had the charred octopus and meatballs. The octopus was cooked perfectly and both were seasoned well. I ordered the boaranaise pasta with gluten free noodle. Loved the seasoning on this and while I thought the noodle was slightly overcooked I prefer it that was to the sometimes too hard gluten free noodle that can be provided at other restaurants. For the main, we split the wagyu. It was cooked perfectly but needed a little more seasoning. We had the kale as a side dish. It wasn't the best dish to order as a side to the wagyu since the wagyu comes with a similar veggie mix. Definitely will come back.
Still remains my FAVOURITE restaurant in all of Dallas! Went here again for the nth time and they had changed a few items on the menu (which keeps it fresh if you ask me!) This time around, we got the beet salad (SOO SOO FRESH), the ravioli (soo good that we reordered it!), the pasta vangole (my favourite in the entire menu) and their potatoes (had a great kick). For dessert we got the chocolate cake which was new on the menu (tasted like heaven). I can't remember the name of the drink I got but it was very refreshing. You can never go wrong with anything you order here!! The service was impeccable, our server Michelle was so much fun and gave great recommendations. The ambience has always been sooo lovely, like the perfect upscale, hip date-night place! If you still haven't visited Sisters yet, RUN, don't walk!
I came back with a smaller group of people and had a really great experience. The highlights of the night included how great all of the service staff was. Our server gave such great advice on how to order, what to send out first, and gave me plenty of options for vegetarian dishes and each time one was brought out she let me know if I was able to taste it or not. We ordered more family style then got our own "larger plates" or "pastas" which I loved. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get more pictures of each dish since we dug in so quickly! The stars: focaccia (a must), potatoes, and the zucchini special. The olive tapenade that comes with the focaccia was arguably my favorite part of the evening. I would drown myself in this if I could. The only let down: we were so looking forward to the beet and avocado salad, but unfortunately most of us didn't love it. It was a little too vinegar-y for my taste, although if you love the flavor of beets I'm sure you'll enjoy it more than we did. We were disappointed because all the reviews said it was a must order! Honorable mentions: Brussel sprouts and green goddess Cesar salad. Both were great but more expected dishes compared to the others. My entree was the clams vongole with mushrooms substituted at the advice of the server (see picture). I really enjoyed it and the kick of the red pepper flakes, but I was so full from the rest of the food I didn't get to finish it! Luckily it was still delicious as left overs. We also shared some desserts, the chocolate olive oil cake was delicious but so rich, and the banana pudding was delicious. Again, I was so full I only had a taste but was very happy with how they were plated and tasted.
I loved the ambiance of this restaurant. Walked in on a Saturday evening, and were on the waitlist. Got seats at the bar within 20 minutes. We loved the cocktails that were made. Ordered the burrata and lobster, potatoes, pasta dish with boar (can't remember name of dish), and the redfish. It was all delicious and was a perfect amount for 2 adults. We were actually too full for dessert.
i really like this place: the ambiance, service and food were all great! Honestly, the worst thing about this place is the parking situation. When we first arrived, we tried to find parking in the lot behind but it was packed. we drove across the street and was blessed by the parking god, and found a spot. Otherwise, i think we would have been driving around for quite a while to find parking. We made reservations, so we walked in and were seated right away. We didn't get seated "inside" but it was in the enclosed patio area. We didn't get any of the entrees, but opted to pick a few smaller items to try more items. We tried the lobster and burrata, beets and avocado, charred octopus, bread with olive tapenade, roasted Brussel sprouts and veal & pork meatballs. Everything was really good, and my favorite were the beet/avocado salad and the lobster dish. honestly everything we got was too much food for two people and we needed to take the leftovers home. it was packed the night we went, but like i mentioned before, service was good on checking in on our table to see whether or not we needed anything.
